Front-End Web Developer (Remote, Atlanta) - Contract | Open

ROLE

Our Client is looking for a Front-End Web Developer with public-facing Digital Media, and front-end development expertise to join their team immediately.

This developer will focus on HTML5-compliant front-end applications for various Fortune 1000 clients using a variety of technologies including React/HTML/CSS/Javascript as part of complex applications powered by a variety of backend technologies, including AEM, Drupal, or other content management and templating systems such as Django or WordPress.

KEY CLIENT NOTES

W2 pay rate – $60/hr
Contract length would be 6-12+ months for a strong contractor
Remote, Atlanta, or other EST locations
MUST HAVE Sr Skill set – HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React preferred over Angular/Vue
MUST HAVE public-facing web development and mobile experience
MUST HAVE excellent communication skills
MUST be proactive and self-starting; able to work independently
NICE TO HAVE Adobe AEM experience

QUALIFICATIONS

7+ years of professional software development experience
Demonstrated mastery of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS/Javascript, including expert-level skills in developing robust data-driven applications that leverage Ajax and JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, or other similar frameworks
Expertise with single-page applications (SPAs) is ideal, along with isomorphic javascript rendering, whether with tools like Nextjs/Nuxtjs or otherwise
Advanced development building content sites using modern CMS and templating systems such as AEM, Drupal, and WordPress
Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools including git, Jira, Maven, Bamboo, etc.
Comfort giving and receiving thoughtful feedback to code reviews
Knowledge of FE build processes, including the use of npm/yarn for installing plugins, as well as expertise with modern bundling tools such as Webpack and Babel
Strong command of CSS styling and experience keeping large-scale styling implementations DRY with CSS abstractions like Sass/LESS/CSS Modules
Unit testing capabilities as a FE engineer are a plus
Linux knowledge is a plus
BA/BS in computer science or related field is a plus
