Principal Solution Owner, Oracle Enterprise Transformation (Hybrid) - Direct Hire | Open

ROLE

As a Principal Solution Owner, you will be responsible for driving the modernization and transformation of enterprise systems, collaborating with key business and technology stakeholders, and leading all technical aspects of the project.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience leading enterprise migrations using a blend of Oracle technologies (Oracle EBS, Fusion, Oracle Financials Cloud, Oracle Field Services, OCI, OIC and databases) as well as more open, cloud-based technologies (MS Azure, AWS) with knowledge of related technologies and approaches. Candidates should also possess a blend of both technical skills and passions, as well as soft skills to effectively shape outcomes with key business stakeholders and ensure the overall success of the transformation initiative.

  • Lead the migration strategy from Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical feasibility
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to map legacy EBS modules to Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, optimizing processes and leveraging new functionalities
  • Manage the product backlog, prioritize features, and create detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for the development team
  • Translate business priorities into technical requirements, own the technical backlog and engage in a hands-on way to ensure business objectives are met, sprint to sprint
  • Define and develop the future roadmap for our enterprise platforms, aligning it with business objectives and technical capabilities
  • Oversee data migration, including the use of Oracle-specific data mapping tools and third-party migration software
  • Ensure integration of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP with other enterprise systems, maintaining data integrity and system cohesiveness
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating priorities and complex technical concepts into clear and understandable objectives, while ensuring the successful delivery of the modernization initiative 
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the product, to simplify, streamline, consolidate, and automate inefficient and poorly integrated business systems and processes.
  • Integrate AI-driven capabilities and data analytics to detect process inefficiencies

KEY CLIENT NOTES

  • Salary range – 160k – 175k plus bonus
  • Experience with Oracle migrations/upgrades – Oracle EBS to Fusion Cloud
  • This person will help manage projects/transformations and be results-driven. Solid project management skills will be valuable.
  • NICE TO HAVE – a passion for AL, ML, and automation 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent work experience. 
  • Must have 10+ years of experience with Oracle EBS (E-Business Suite) and at 7+ years focused on Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP migrations. 
  • Strong understanding of Oracle EBS modules and Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP functionalities is required. 
  • Strong understanding of Oracle Financials Cloud, Oracle Field Services, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing is required. 
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience with Scrum or similar frameworks. 
  • Demonstrated experience with data migration tools and strategies specific to Oracle migrations. Experience with data and logic mapping techniques, and associated tools used to help streamline this process is important. 
  • Experience with Oracle and non-Oracle technical integration tools and platforms like Oracle SOA and OIC, modern REST APIs, file transfer protocols and techniques and real-time data streaming. 
  • Excellent project management, and stakeholder engagement skills. 
  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to present to a diverse audience (business, technical, and leadership) and clearly communicate across diverse cultures and time zones.
