Sr. AI Engineer (Remote) - Contract | Open

ROLE

An Atlanta based company is launching a new AI initiative and is looking for an AI Engineer to help build AI-powered tools and workflows. In this role, you will work closely with a Business Analyst/PM and AI Prompt Engineer to turn business requirements into practical AI-driven solutions.

You will develop applications and automations using tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and GitHub Copilot, integrating them into internal systems and processes.

  • Build and deploy AI-powered applications and internal tools.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into AI solutions.
  • Integrate generative AI platforms such as CoPilot, ChatGPT, and Claude into business workflows.
  • Develop APIs, automation scripts, and backend services to support AI features.
  • Prototype and iterate on AI use cases such as workflow automation, document summarization, and internal assistants.
  • Ensure secure and responsible use of AI tools and data.

 

KEY CLIENT NOTES

  • Remote – Atlanta area candidates are preferred, but we will consider East Coast
  • Hourly $80 – $100 
  • MUST HAVE 3 years of AI engineering experience
  • Skilled in using CoPilot, ChatGPT, and Claude
  • Excellent communication skills

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of software engineering or AI engineering experience.
  • Experience building applications using LLM tools such as CoPilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, or a similar language.
  • Experience with AI frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.
  • Familiarity with vector databases or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
  • Experience deploying applications in cloud environments like Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.
